My name is Rhonda Kellerton, and I am an artist based in Lubbock, Texas!
I was born on June 14, 1976 with the last name of Oddinett in Galveston, Texas.
Here's an image of me from 1977. Back then cameras weren't the best so you couldn't even see me and Momma!
Unfortunately, on July 13, 1983, my father passed away of stomach cancer at the age of 38. I miss him very much, even to this day, and he's my main inspiration for my art.
Donald H. Oddinett (October 27, 1944 - July 13, 1983)
I went to the "Seaside Kindergarten" when I was 5 years old, then went to "Weis Elementary School" before moving to Lubbock after my father's passing. It was at this time when I truly began my lifelong love for art. I would contstantly ask Momma if we could go visit the art museum, she'd always buy me a pack of papers so I could draw on them and I always used to (and still sometimes do) watch documentaries about famous artists.
Here's a drawing that I made when I was 5 years old.
I then went on to go to college, major in the arts and then went on to meet the love of my life, Norman Kellerton, in a "Cafe D'Amour" location in the year of 1995. We then had our first child, Jason, in 1997, had our second child, Cassidy, in 1999, got married in 2002 and had our third and final child, Laurence, in 2004. Nowadays, I make paintings and Internet drawings and one of my favorite things to draw are my memories, as they combine both of my favorite things: art and nostalgia. I also work part-time as a nurse at the Lubbock National Hospital.
Another fact about me is that one of my ancestors, Gerald Kellerton, was the first vice president of the United States but for a very short period of time because some madman shot him dead. They then replaced him with John Adams who then became the second president of the US. Here's a drawing of him from some old newspaper discussing him becoming vice president.

"PROPHET!” SAID I, “THING OF EVIL!—PROPHET STILL, IF BIRD OR DEVIL!—
WHETHER TEMPTER SENT, OR WHETHER TEMPEST TOSSED THEE HERE ASHORE,
DESOLATE YET ALL UNDAUNTED, ON THIS DESERT LAND ENCHANTED—
ON THIS HOME BY HORROR HAUNTED—TELL ME TRULY, I IMPLORE—
IS THERE—IS THERE BALM IN GILEAD?—TELL ME—TELL ME, I IMPLORE!”
